Made from wool right here in the Ruapehu foothills, this mat holds moisture, smothers weeds, and slowly breaks down feeding nutrients back into your soil. A natural alternative to plastic weed mat that actually works with your garden instead of sitting on top of it.

Perfect for a dedicated vege patch, a flower bed, or a mix of both. Use it in a raised bed, cut it to fit an existing garden, or start a brand new square metre garden from scratch.

How to use it

Lay the mat over your prepared bed and plant straight through the pre made planting holes. Water as normal, the wool takes care of the rest.

A natural product

Being made from wool, colour and texture will vary slightly from mat to mat. That's just the wool, not a flaw. Expect the mat to break down naturally over a season or two, depending on conditions.
