Q: What is Sustaina Grow?
A: Sustaina Grow is a New Zealand-based company creating eco-friendly gardening, horticulture, landscaping, packaging, and gifting products from 100% natural New Zealand wool. Our goal is to replace plastic and synthetic garden products with sustainable, biodegradable alternatives.
Q: Why wool?
A: Wool is renewable, biodegradable, and compostable. It holds moisture, suppresses weeds, improves soil health, and slowly releases nutrients as it breaks down. Plus, we’re helping support New Zealand’s strong wool industry by adding value to this natural resource.
Q: Are all your products made in New Zealand?
A: Yes. Everything is made and hand-packed in Ohakune, at the base of Mt Ruapehu. This keeps our supply chain transparent and supports local jobs.

Q: How do your products help in the garden?

-Wool mulch mats suppress weeds and retain moisture.
-Soil enhancers improve soil structure, add organic matter, and encourage beneficial microbes.
-Wool decomposes naturally, enriching the soil with nutrients.
Q: Do your products include fertiliser?
A: Some do! For example, the Strawberry Grow Pack comes with premium strawberry fertiliser included. Our Soil Enhancer also contains nutrient-rich organic matter. For other products, you can add fertiliser as needed.
Q: Are your products biodegradable?
A: Yes. Every wool-based product we make is fully biodegradable and compostable. No plastics, no hidden nasties.
Sizes, Shipping & Returns
Q: What sizes are available?
A: We offer a variety of sizes — from small pre-cut mats for pots and planters, to larger rolls for garden beds and commercial applications. We also supply bulk orders for horticulture, landscaping, and vineyards.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes. We ship across New Zealand and overseas. Shipping options and costs are shown at checkout. NZ orders over a set amount (currently $250) ship free.
Q: How long will delivery take?
A: Delivery times vary depending on your location. NZ orders usually arrive faster, while international orders depend on shipping carriers. If you need something urgently, get in touch — we’ll do our best to help.
Q: What’s your returns policy?
A: If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Q: Can I buy in bulk for my farm, vineyard, or landscaping project?
A: Absolutely. We supply larger quantities for horticulture, agriculture, landscaping, and erosion control. Reach out for bulk pricing.
